I worked at High Royds in 2003-5 when it was being used for TV production/police dog & riot squad training and only wish I'd had a bit more time to take photographs. I have some from around the buildings and in the mortuary etc. but didn't have the time to do it all justice (of course now I'm looking them up again and realising there are some really good shots I'd forgotten about!). I also never got a chance to see the concert hall, so it's great to see your images of it. Speaking of the mortuary, did you have any 'issues' with the room off to one side of the main room (the one behind you if you're facing the window)? Just interested to know. We were based in a wing which I believe had been a teaching unit for a few years, so it seemed far less 'troubled' than much of the rest of the building - I know the area which was used by 'Bodies' was a lot worse (ie. padded cells included). Having said that, there were areas of our sets which had a fair bit of atmosphere to them and I never liked being the last one out after the rest of the crew had gone home. Ironically, we used to keep our actors in what had originally been the confinement cells. :dry:
